HVAC Maintenance Plans in Columbus Ohio

A Worry-Free Maintenance Agreement That Makes You Our First Priority.

The difference between a heating and cooling system that lasts ten years and one that lasts eighteen usually comes down to a single thing: whether anyone looked at it between breakdowns. Most homeowners only think about their HVAC system when it stops working, and by then the small, cheap problem has already turned into the expensive one.

A Patriot Air maintenance plan changes that. We put precision tune-ups on the calendar ahead of each season, so your air conditioner gets attention before the first ninety-degree day and your furnace gets checked before the first hard freeze. Our NATE-certified technicians catch worn capacitors, low refrigerant charge, dirty coils, and cracked heat exchangers while they are still routine findings instead of emergency calls. And when you do need us, you are not waiting behind everyone else in Central Ohio who called that morning.

Plans start at $19.95 per month. Try any of them for ninety days, and if you are not 100% satisfied, cancel at any time.

Every Patriot Air HVAC Maintenance Plan Includes:

Priority Service Scheduling. Any time you need service while you are enrolled, you move to the front of the line. On the hottest afternoon in July or the coldest night in January, when every HVAC company in Columbus is booked solid, this is the benefit you will be glad you have.

No diagnostic charges. No diagnostic fees while you are enrolled. That's a $130 value every single time we come out to look at your system.

15% off any part you may need. Plan members get 15% off any part required for a repair, backed by a full two-year parts warranty. One mid-sized repair typically returns more than a year of plan cost.

Precision tune-ups on schedule. Our tune-ups run through dozens of checkpoints on your equipment, and every visit ends with a complete written report so you know exactly what we inspected, what we found, and what to watch.

90-day satisfaction guarantee. Try any plan for ninety days. If you are not 100% satisfied, you may cancel at any time, no penalty and no hassle.

AC & Furnace Maintenance Plan

Two precision tune-ups a year, timed to the seasons that matter. We service your air conditioner in the spring before cooling season arrives, and your furnace in the fall before you need heat.

Your air conditioning tune-up covers cleaning and washing the condenser coils, leveling the condensing unit for proper motor and bearing wear, lubricating motor and fan bearings, inspecting the evaporator coil and drain pan, checking condensate drain lines, calibrating the thermostat, cleaning the blower assembly, testing every electrical connection and capacitor, measuring line and control voltage and amp draw, verifying airflow and air delivery, adjusting all safety controls, and monitoring refrigerant pressures with superheat and subcooling measured against factory specifications.

Your furnace tune-up covers cleaning and adjusting the main gas burners and ignition assembly, inspecting the heat exchanger and combustion chambers for cracks, rust, and problem areas, vacuuming out the blower compartment and return air drop, testing the flue assembly and drafting mechanism, testing all safety controls, measuring and adjusting gas pressure, replacing or cleaning standard air filters, lubricating fan motors and moving parts, setting proper blower speed and airflow, calibrating the thermostat, recording heating output, testing the thermocouple and pilot safety switch, and repairing minor air leaks in the plenum and return air drop.

That heat exchanger inspection is the one no homeowner should go without. A cracked heat exchanger is a carbon monoxide risk, and it is not something you can spot on your own or hear coming.

What this plan does for you: lower utility bills from reduced energy waste, longer equipment life, fewer repairs and breakdowns, improved system reliability, greater heating and cooling capacity, and a full written report after every visit.

Geothermal System Maintenance Plan

Geothermal systems are built to last decades, with indoor components running twenty-five years or more and ground loops lasting over fifty. Protecting that kind of investment takes a technician who actually knows geothermal, which is a different skill set than conventional heating and cooling.

Your plan includes two precision tune-ups a year, one in spring and one in fall. Each visit covers verifying supply voltage, measuring compressor amp draw, checking return air and coil temperature differential, checking loop pressures and temperatures, removing air from the flow center, adding loop fluid as needed, switching the desuperheater on or off for the season, inspecting all electrical connections and grounds, checking capacitor MFD ratings, cleaning the drain pan, checking and replacing filters, scanning the unit for fault codes, verifying auxiliary and backup heat operation, and checking and cleaning the blower motor.

Patriot Air has been Central Ohio's geothermal specialist since Geo Source One became part of our team, and we install and service the full WaterFurnace line. When you call us about a geothermal system, you are talking to people who work on them every week.

What this plan does for you: lower utility bills, extended equipment life, fewer repairs, improved reliability, and greater heating and cooling capacity, season after season.

Why a Maintenance Plan Pays for Itself

At under twenty dollars a month, a maintenance plan costs less than a single diagnostic call. Skip the maintenance and the math runs the other direction fast.

Dirty coils and clogged filters force your system to run longer to deliver the same comfort, and that inefficiency shows up on every utility bill for as long as you ignore it. Components that are wearing out tend to fail at the worst possible moment, which is exactly when emergency scheduling is tightest across Columbus. And a system that never gets serviced rarely reaches the fifteen-year lifespan it was engineered for, which means replacing equipment years earlier than you planned.

There is a warranty angle too. Most manufacturers require documented annual maintenance to keep equipment warranties valid, so letting your tune-up schedule lapse can quietly cost you coverage you already paid for when you bought the system.

Plan members avoid the diagnostic fee entirely, take 15% off any part, and get two years of warranty behind those parts. One repair usually covers the year.
